Terms of Service

Version: 1.0 | Effective date: April 2026. Welcome to TriSourceObserve ("the Site", "we", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and TriSourceObserve regarding your use of the Site and all its sub-pages, features, subscription services, and content. Please read these Terms carefully before using the Site. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not access or use the Site. Continued use of the Site constitutes your acknowledgement that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full.

Section 1

Scope of Application

These Terms apply to all users who access the Site, including but not limited to: visitors who browse content only; users who subscribe to the newsletter; readers who communicate with us by email; and any individual or entity that uses our content or services in any other manner.

Section 2

Content Ownership and Intellectual Property

Copyright — All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, articles, analyses, charts, data visualisations, logos, layout design, source code, and compiled forms, is owned by TriSourceObserve or its content providers and is protected by international copyright law, trademark law, and other intellectual property laws.

Permitted use — Personal, non-commercial use: you may read, print, or download a copy of individual articles online for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided all copyright notices are retained. Fair quotation: subject to the 'fair use' or 'fair dealing' principles of international copyright conventions, you may quote brief passages from articles on this Site, but must clearly attribute the source as 'TriSourceObserve' and include a link to the original article.

Prohibited acts — Without our express written permission you may not: bulk copy, reproduce, or redistribute all or a substantial part of the Site's content; use the Site's content for commercial purposes (including but not limited to reproducing behind a paywall, using for AI model training, or compiling into commercial publications); modify, translate, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works in any manner (except for personal study); remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices.

User-submitted content — If you submit comments, suggestions, news tips, or original materials to us via email, feedback forms, or other means, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable licence to use, modify, adapt, or publish such content on TriSourceObserve and associated channels (while we will respect your attribution rights). You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to submit the content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

Section 3

User Conduct

By using the Site you agree not to: violate any applicable law or regulation; infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other lawful interests of others; upload or transmit any malicious code, virus, worm, or harmful programme; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its servers, or databases; automate access to the Site (e.g. via crawlers) except in compliance with our robots.txt and with written permission; interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the Site, including by launching denial-of-service attacks; use the Site's content to train any artificial intelligence or machine learning model without our express written authorisation.

Violation of the above may result in our immediately terminating your access, and we reserve the right to pursue legal liability.

Section 4

Subscriptions and Communications

Newsletter subscription — You may voluntarily provide your email address via the form at the bottom of the Site to subscribe to the weekly newsletter. Subscription is free, and you may unsubscribe at any time via the 'Unsubscribe' link at the bottom of each email. We use your email address solely to send content digests and a very small number of important service notices (such as Terms updates). We will not use your email address for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Confidentiality of communications — When communicating with us by email, please note that email is not an absolutely secure means of communication. Please do not send sensitive personal information (such as identity documents or financial information) by email. We will take reasonable confidentiality measures for emails received but do not accept liability for information leakage caused by network transmission.

Section 5

Third-Party Links and Sources

Articles on the Site may contain links to third-party websites for your reference and verification purposes. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or security of third-party websites. You access third-party websites at your own risk.

We provide source links to implement the transparency of our Three-Source Verification method, but this does not mean we endorse or back the views, products, or services of those third-party websites.

Section 6

Disclaimers

Nature of content — The content on this Site constitutes 'slow, in-depth news' and analytical commentary based on publicly available information and cited sources. Although we follow strict editorial standards, we cannot guarantee that all information is completely accurate, complete, or current at all times. News events may continue to develop; our articles reflect the best information available as of the date of publication.

Not professional advice — The content of this Site (including but not limited to financial analysis and technology trend assessments) is provided for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice, legal advice, medical advice, or any other form of professional opinion. Before making any investment or business decision, you should consult a qualified, licensed professional. We are not responsible for any decision you make based on content from this Site.

No warranties — To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided 'as is' without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or security. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Limitation of liability — To the extent permitted by applicable law, TriSourceObserve and its employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site or its content, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or reputational harm, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for indirect damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.

Section 7

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or any applicable law, or from your infringement of any third-party rights.

Section 8

Termination

We reserve the right, without notice, to immediately terminate or restrict your access to all or part of the Site, or to cancel your subscription, for any reason including but not limited to your breach of these Terms. Following termination you may not continue to use the Site's content. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

Section 9

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing law — These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore (without regard to conflict-of-law principles). We have chosen Singapore law as a neutral and internationally recognised legal framework.

Dispute resolution — Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of the Site shall first be resolved through amicable negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) for arbitration in accordance with its rules then in force. The arbitration language shall be English and the seat of arbitration shall be Singapore. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on both parties.

Exception — Either party may apply to a court of competent jurisdiction for interim injunctive relief or preservation measures to prevent irreparable harm to intellectual property rights.

Section 10

Amendments to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes (such as changes to data-processing practices or restrictions on user rights) will be notified via a notice on the homepage or by email to subscribers. Revised Terms take effect from the effective date specified in the notice. Continued use of the Site after that date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend you review this page periodically.

Section 11

Miscellaneous

Severability — If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Waiver — Our failure to exercise or delay in exercising any right shall not constitute a waiver of that right.

Entire agreement — These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the Site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous oral or written communications.

Assignment — We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to an affiliate or business successor without your consent. You may not assign any of your rights or obligations.
